The "Maison du Dolmen" initially made two farms, but issued from the same family. The one we invite you to visit is the birthplace of the present family, which has been living here for more than 200 years.

The father of the great-grandfather of the present owners built the neighbour's house in 1880 with an adjoining barn on the family plot, leaving the farm to his sisters. In 1930 the grand-father of the present owners bought back his ancestors' house from his aunts, thus re-uniting the family property.

Before WWII, he united the stables built by different generations and constructed the 30 m long stables which currently prolong the family house.

With the drastic changes of the economical conditions of agriculture, the father of the young owners decided to keep the family estate and carried out a series of works over a period of nearly 30 years, gradually transforming the initial farms into a genuine house which combines traditional Périgord architecture with modern comfort. The young owners invite you to share the pleasure of dwelling in a house where it is good to live.
